DIY | Lip Scrub Using Only 3 Ingredients.

Lately, I have been having problems with my lips. It's more chappy more than the usual. I don't know it if is because lately, I have had a lot of events and places to go to that I put on matte lipstick all the time or because of the weather.

It came to the point that it's a little bothersome now. I told myself I need a lip scrub.

I know how Lush's lip scrub is a little expensive, so i opted to the alternative: DIY!

I have watched a lot of DIY lip scrubs in youtube and everyone has different recipes. All are edible, and this is edible too. This is how.

1 tbsp. Coconut Oil
1/2 tbsp. Oil Flavoring (Mine's coffee)
2 tbsp. Sugar

I just merged everything and mixed in the paper cup and when everything's combined, you can already use it. The consistency must be in between smooth and crumbly. I used an old candy glass jar as its container.

Where did I buy the ingredients?

I bought the Virgin Coconut Oil in Watson's.

It has a free coconut shampoo when I bought it as their promo. It's Php199 and it can be used almost everywhere and it can be consumed!

The Coffee oil on the other hand is from Chocolate Lovers. It's only Php65 and they have a lot of flavors to choose from. From fruits such as strawberry, banana, to chocolate and other oil flavorings.

The sugar I used is just plain washed sugar.

What I do is I put it in the fridge when I won't be using it. But I get it an hour or thirty minutes before using so the oils will be warm again.

You can buy food color and color them depending on the flavor and give it as gifts!

You can buy containers like that in Vente Store. I wrote a blog post about it and where it is located, you can check it out.

I used this recipe for consecutive four days now and it really leaves my lips smooth and moisturized. Try it and let me know!
