Foodie Adventures | Coldlayers Cafe

Cold Layers cafe is a place that I call a paradise. I always love it when a restaurant or a place that offers a long list of dishes also has the same amount of choices when it comes to the dessert. Don't get me wrong, I love restaurants and food in general, but my sweet tooth will always say yes to desserts, and Cold Layers did not disappoint.

The specific branch that I was able to visit is the one in Fisher Mall along Quezon Avenue. The place is just near the escalator so you can easily see it on the 4th floor. You can also easily notice the chairs and tables outside which means they can accommodate a lot, especially if you're with a large group or your family.

We were able to taste a few dishes, two drinks and a patbingsu/shaved ice cream dessert.

CHICKEN CORDON BLEU - 285php

I particularly love Chicken Cordon Blue in general, and this one didn't disappoint. I just didn't like the dip/gravy because it tastes bland but the chicken cordon bleu itself can be eaten without it nicely. As you can see, the chicken isn't as thin as the usual once I had before, so this is a plus for me!

COLDLAYERS NACHOS - 240php

Their nachos has generous toppings, and although I love its taste and the big serving, I think the amount of sauce put made the nachos a bit saggy immediately. Nevertheless, I still like this.

BACON CARBONARA - 250pho

Their bacon carbonara looks bland, but it's a bit salty for my taste. The serving is big, you'll surely be full with just this one.

The Philly Beef and Tomato sandwich is the bomb. It's my favorite of the bunch that we tasted. Really beefy and tasty.

LYCHEE YAKULT TEA - 110php and BROWN SUGAR MILK TEA -

I also particularly love the Lychee Yakult because it has small pearls that when crushed, a taste of Lychee will burst. I would probably come back for it!

SECRET AFFAIR - 220php

I love that even though the bingsu looked really chocolate-y, if that makes sense, it's not that sweet and I appreciate the brownie toppings as it added character and to the overall taste of the dessert. We devoured this in a few minutes!

Some of the prices are a little steep for me but they have big servings, so it's a point that should be considered as well. The staffs are quick and accommodating. You ask, they deliver.
